Our first workshop is complete!

Our first project was a great success! Thank you to everyone who participated!

The dancing net skirt project was extremely fun! At any given time 3-4 generations participated together, it was so wonderful to have grandparents, great grandparents and their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren all together to share their stories, knowledge and time.

That is the heart of this effort, community building and wisdom sharing.

We have decided to host two six week workshops annually for our Chumash community members to learn and create items for regalia, for themselves or their children and grandchildren. Spring and fall equinox. She check back for more information on our next 6 week workshop scheduled for September 28!
